Real Valladolid – Real Sociedad
In the season 2019/20 Real Valladolid once again kept their place in La Liga which was always the club’s priority. The manager Sergio starts his third season at the club and so far he’s showing some good capabilities. He managed to make a good team even without much cash for new signings. One of the most important things Sergio did is to teach his team to defend – Valladolid really know how to do it under his management.
Real Valladolid did some deals on the transfer market this summer. The club, which is owned by Brazilian legend Ronaldo, paid 4 million euro for the Israeli striker Shon Weissman. The club also signed Real Madrid’s centre-back Javi Sanchez, while Bruno Gonzalez, Luis Perez, Fabian Orellana and Roberto arrived on free transfers.
Real Sociedad were not happy with finishing 7th in La Liga last season, so now their goal is to improve and eventually chase a place in Top 4. Despite of the average 2019/20 campaign the manager Imanol Alguacil recieved the chance to continue coaching the Basques.
On the market Real Sociedad did just one transfer so far, but it’s really an impressive one. The club signed one of the best Spanish players of this generation. This is David Silva who arrived on a free transfer from Manchester City. We all thought Silva will move to Italy and sign with Lazio, but La Real hijacked the deal and got the midfield maestro.
This is our preview for the La Liga game between Real Valladolid and Real Sociedad on Sunday. Valladolid are usually tough at home, so it won’t be easy for La Real to break them. But we can’t wait to see David Silva in La Liga again.
