PSG – Celtic

PSG hosts Celtic in a match from Group B of the UEFA Champions League.

PSG are just flying in the Champions League this season. After signing players like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Dani Alves in the summer, Unai Emery’s team looks stronger than ever. Right now PSG are leading the group with a perfect record of 12 points. The most impressive thing is that they are still about to concede their first goal in the competition. So far PSG’s goal difference in the Champions League is 17:0 – highly impressive.

Last season the Parisians suffered a humilation against Barcelona in the knockout phase, but now PSG are motivated to show everyone that they are a true contender for the trophy. And so far they are doing it. The French team looks stronger than ever. The new signings are playing greatly and they add up perfectly to the overall class of the team.

As for Celtic, they are currently favourites for finishing at 3rd place and securing a place in Europa League. The Scottish champions have 3 points at the moment, thanks to their win against Anderlecht. Celtic probably knew that they can’t win qualify for the next round, when they have teams like PSG and Bayern Munich in the group. But the third place was their obvious target before the action begins.

PSG are a huge favourite in this game. The first match between them and Celtic in Glasgow ended with a 5-0 win for the French team. It’s hard to think that they might make a mistake at home, after dominating in the group so far. The question is – will they concede a goal this time? It’d be a huge achievement, if they finish their participation in the group without a single goal conceded. We shall wait and see.
