The Czech Republic have the same amount of points as the leader Portugal right now – 4. They were incredibly close to beating Spain in the previous round, but conceded an equalising goal in the 90th minute. It was very disappointing to lose two points like that.

We can say the Czech team made a solid performance against La Roja. Pesek and Kuchta moved them very close to winning, but Spain’s Inigo Martinez equalised in the last minutes of the match. Still it was a very solid performance from the hosts.
