Manchester United – Fulham

Manchester United hosts Fulham in a game from the 16th round of the English Premier League. Let’s take a look at this clash at the Old Trafford on Saturday.

Manchester United are having a season to forget so far. The Red Devils are currently 8th in the league standings, having 23 points and a record of 6 wins, 5 draws and 4 losses. United are without a win in their last four games in the league, suffering one defeat and doing three draws. Clearly the team have a lot of problems at the moment and the manager Jose Mourinho is unable to find a solution.

In their last game United made a 2-2 draw at home against Arsenal at the Old Trafford. Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard saved the Devils from a defeat, but it was another points lost for United. Right now Manchester United are 8 points behind the 4th Chelsea, so it’s really questionable if they can qualify for the next edition of the Champions League.

It’s also really questionable if Jose Mourinho has a future in this club. More and more of United’s fans want to see the Portuguese tactician sacked as soon as possible. But so far Mourinho is keeping his job.

Fulham on the other hand are 20th in the Premier League, being on the bottom of the table. Right now the Cottagers have just 9 points won in the league and a record of 2 wins, 3 draws and 10 losses.

But there’s some improvement since the new manager Claudio Ranieri took the helm. Since he was appointed, Fulham won 4 points in 3 games. In their last match Cottagers made a 1-1 draw at home against Leicester City. Every point is going to be very important for the Londoners.

This is what we had to say about the clash between Manchester United and Fulham. Good luck!
