Inter – Roma

Inter’s decision to appoint Stefano Pioli as a head coach turned out to be a brilliant one. The Nerrazurri improved their performance in a great way, turnint itself to a contender for a place in the Champions League next season. But now Inter will have a really strong opponent – Roma.

The two teams will meet at the Stadio San Siro in Milan. Roma’s chances of beating Juventus for the Serie A title look slim, but Luciano Spalletti’s team is very close to secure a place in the Champions League.

Inter on the other hand is just six points behind the 3rd Napoli, so nothing is really lost for the Nerrazurri just yet. But if they want to keep their chances of finishing among the first three teams in the table, they need to continue winning.

Both teams are performing in a similar way in their last five games. They won four of them and lost just once, which is a sign that we should expect a game between two teams in a really good form and condition. Which guarantees a good game and a lot of excitement for the fans.

A win at the Stadio San Siro will allow Roma to keep the 2nd place, no matter what is going to happen in the game between Napoli and Atalanta. In same time, Inter really need the three points, if the Milan giants want to keep their chances for Champions League football.

Inter’s manager Stefano Pioli have some problems in defense, because of the suspension of Joao Miranda. Ionut Radu is out until March with a shoulder injury, while Geoffrey Kondogbia, Jeison Murillo and Marcelo Brozovic remain doubtful for the game because of injuries.

Roma will be without the injured Alessandro Florenzi, while one of the team’s leaders Daniele De Rossi is doubtful because of an injury.
