Inter Milan – AC Milan

Two great rivals will face each other on Saturday when Inter Milan and AC Milan go toe to toe in the amazing Derby della Madonnina of the Serie A. Just as always we expect a great clash between these two teams, so let’s preview it in the next few paragraphs.

Two wins and one draw – this is how Inter started their way to the title this season. After finishing second in the league in the previous campaign now Antonio Conte’s boys are eager to make the next step and actually win the gold medals. It’s going to be very difficult, of course, but Conte is not a head coach who is afraid of huge challenges.

In their last match before the international break the Nerazzurri made their first draw for the new season. Inter had a huge challenge against Lazio at the Olimpico, but the derby in the capital ended without a winning side – 1-1. Lautaro Martinez scored for Inter, but the visitors conceded an equalising goal after the break.

AC Milan are having the dream start of the 2020/21 season. The Rossoneri are second in the Serie A standings with 9 points, being on par with the leader Atalanta. Three wins from three matches played – the manager Stefano Pioli can be happy with the performance of his team.

The return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the best news Milan got during the international break. The Swedish super star was diagnosed with coronavirus, but he’s healthy now and ready to return in playing. Ibrahimovic is incredibly influental to Milan, so his return on the pitch is going to be very important for the team.

Both Inter Milan and AC Milan are in a very good shape at the moment, so this is a reason to expect some great football between these two sides. Be sure to watch because the Derby della Madonnina is always giving us the best emotions.
