Dalkurd – Norrby

Dalkurd hosts Norrby in a match from the 14th round of the Swedish Superettan division.

Dalkurd are currently one of the best teams in the league, being on 2nd place in the standings. They are on 8 points behind the leader Brommapojkarna, but they are still in a very good position to attack a direct promotion to the Allsvenskan for the next season. Their lead in front of the third Helsingborg is three points.

In their last game Dalkurd recorded a huge win, beating Helsingborg with 5-0 at home. This was a great statement from them and showed everyone that they are a very strong contender for promotion this season.

In their last game Norrby won against Orgryte, also scoring five goals in the process, but this didn’t improve their position in the league. They still need to start winning points on a more regular basis, if they want to improve their position. So far they are still in a very dangerous place.

Dalkurd have won 8 of their 13 games in the Superettan so far, losing three in the process. They have scored 24 goals so far, conceding just 8. Alongside the leader Brommapojkarna, they are the team with the best defense in the Swedish Superettan since the start of the new season.

Norrbry have four wins since the start of the season, recording three of them in their last five matches. Which speaks good of their current form. They scored 18 goals so far and conceded 21.

How we pointed out, Norrbry are in their best form since the start of the campaign, so it’d be interesting to see how they are going to perform against one of the best teams in the league. Of course, Dalkurd remain a huge favourite to snatch the win, but is it going to be easy for them? We shall wait and see.
