Chelsea – Arsenal

Can anybody stop Chelsea from winning the Premier League this season? For many people, the answer is “no”. Antonio Conte’s team is looking unstoppable in most of the time, although The Blues lost two points against Liverpool at the Anfield in the last round of the league. But still, they have a solid 9 points advantage in front of Tottenham after 23 games played.

On Saturday Chelsea welcomes Arsenal in the big London derby of the 24th round of the Premier League. Arsenal are one of the team who are still engaged in battle for the gold medals, although The Gunners shockingly lost against Watford at the Emirates on Tuesday. Arsenal had the chance to reduce the gap after Chelsea’s draw in Liverpool, but Arsene Wenger’s team once again showed some serious weakness in a decisive moment of the campaign. if Arsenal lose once again at the Stamford Bridge, most likely they will surrender their Premier League title ambitions.

Antonio Conte can use his full squad for the London derby as all of his first team players are fit and ready to play. The same couldn’t be said about Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger, who will be without the services of the suspended midfielder Granit Xhaka. Santiago Cazorla is also out for the game because of an injury, while Olivier Giroud, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey and Matheiu Debuchy are all doubtful because of different problems they have.

This will be a good opportunity for Antonio Conte and Chelsea to avenge one of their most serious losses from the beginning of the season. In September Arsenal won against Chelsea with 3-0 at the Emirates, dominating The Blues in every aspect of the game. But we could say that many things are different now and Chelsea are the big favourite to win the derby.
