Arsenal – Manchester City

Arsenal welcomes Manchester City in the most interesting game of the Premier League’s 30th round.

Arsenal and the manager Arsene Wenger are put under a serious pressure lately. The Gunners won just one of their last five games in the league, losing four of them. Once again this sparked a serious anger among a lot of Arsenal’s fans, who want from the legendary manager Arsene Wenger to resign.

Because of their terrible form lately, The Gunners are already 6th in the league, being on six points behind Liverpool and the Top 4. So, right now Arsenal are in a serious risk to miss a participation in the Champions League for the next season.

Meanwhile Manchester City continue to fight for a place in the Top 4 of the Premier League. The Citizens are currently 3rd with 57 points won. Pep Guardiola’s team didn’t win neither one of its last two games, losing points against Stoke City and Liverpool.

Arsene Wenger can’t rely on the injured Petr Cech, Lucas Perez and Santi Cazorla, while Mathieu Debuchy is doubtful for the game. In same time Yaya Sanogo have recovered and he’s ready to be included in the match squad once again.

Josep Guardiola is without the services of Ilkay Gundogan and Gabriel Jesus, while Kevin De Bruyne, Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna are doubtful for the visit to the Emirates. Meanwhile the club’s captain Vincent Company is fit and ready to play.

Both teams have the same goal in front of them – a qualification for the Champions League. Arsenal’s position in the league is worst than Manchester City’s, so they need wins and points as soon as possible. The atmosphere in the club’s dressing room is clearly not good, especially when the manager Arsene Wenger is put under a serious pressure like that. It remains to be seen how all of this will affect The Gunners in the game against Manchester City.
