Bournemouth – Liverpool

Bournemouth hosts Liverpool in a match from the 18th round of the English Premier League.

Bournemouth are currently 14th in the league standings, having won 16 points so far. Their record is 4 wins, 4 draws and 9 losses. In their last five matches they were unable to win even once, recording three draws and two losses. In their last game they seriously troubled Manchester United, but still lost with 0-1 at the legendary Old Trafford.

Although they are 14th in the standings, Bournemouth are on just two points above the relegation zone of the Premier League. This means that they have to start winning more points, if they want to keep their place in the league. The battle for survival is going to be really intense, so every point will mater.

Liverpool on the other hand are 5th in the Premier League standings with 31 points won. Their main goal is finishing in the Top 4 and they are currently on par with the 4th Tottenham, so they are moving pretty well in the league so far. It’s clear that it won’t be easy for The Reds to qualify for the Champions League and they would need as much points as possible. And these are the kind of games which Jurgen Klopp’s team have to win.

Bournemouth are without the injured Tyrone Mings, while Brad Smith and Rhoys Wiggins are doubtful for the next match. Adam Federici has recovered from his knee injury and he’s back to training with the other.

Liverpool can’t use the injured Alberto Moreno and Joel Matip, who are still unavaliable for The Reds. Meanwhile Daniel Sturridge is once again injured, recovering from a hamstring train. The good news for Klopp come from the recovery of Adam Lallana, who is now fit and ready to play.
